Out of Service - Bin Rises Twice and Stops at Top
Our Elevator vending machines are designed with the latest technology to gently deliver fragile items like yogurt, salads, sandwiches and more! These machines are refrigerated so the food will remain fresh for your customers.
When the bin rises twice and stops at the top it is out of adjustment and not touching the Top Limit Switch located at the top right of the elevator track (looking from inside the door). You will need to adjust the tray so it operates this switch.
Disconnecting the motor here at the top, this will make it easier for you to move the bin up and down and prevent harm to the motor. Lower the bin so that you can hold the left side while applying vertical pressure on the right side. You’ll hear a click or two. Raise the bin back to the top. The left side of the bin should hit the bump stop and the right side should just make contact with the switch. If the right side does not contact the switch, lower the bin and adjust again another notch and repeat until the right tab just makes contact with the switch. Then reconnect the elevator motor and close the door. The baffle and bin should cycle once and return to service.
